The British Resilience Index uses only registered, named data sources. Every metric is traceable to a specific dataset published by an identifiable organisation. 81 sources currently feed the published index views; 88 are registered in total, listed below by organisation.

Data provenance

71 of 73 indicators are drawn from verified official sources, each labelled on its metric card. The remaining 2 are provisional placeholders, marked as seed, where no official figure is published yet; placeholders are shown for transparency and are excluded from all scoring.
